Aiyana Mikiewicz aims for the Miss Tourism World 2013 crown

Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz left last September 30, 2013 to represent the Philippines in the Miss Tourism World 2013 to be held on October 12, 2013 in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. Aiyana is the current Miss Tourism World Philippines 2013 and was a former Mutia ti La Union 2012, Miss Laoag 2012, International Quest for Pamulinawen Festival Queen, Miss Panagbenga 2011 and Miss Agoo 2011, to name a few titles that had prepared her to compete in the international pageant.


She got a long journey from Manila to Amsterdam then Paris just to reach Equatorial Guinea. Her supporters had high hopes for her to clinch the 3rd crown for the Philippines this  2013 after the victory of Mutya Datul in Miss Supranational 2013 and Megan Young in Miss World 2013 of two lovely Filipina  beauties as well as the 3rd Miss Tourism World after Suzanne Park Fahling, Miss Tourism World 1995 and Michelle Reyes, Miss Tourism World 2002. The franchise holder, Francisco “Gareth” Blanco had done the necessary preparation for Aiyana with the help of his team and a lot of concerned mentors who had done their share in prepping up Aiyana for the pageant. 
The Province of La Union, headed by Gov. Manuel Ortega and other concerned individuals and groups had shared their assistance for Aiyana and the support and love of her family and friends are now the reason why she is inspired and ready to aim for a victory for the Philippines.

24th Philippine Travel Mart at SMX Convention Center last September 7, 2013

Last September 7, 2013, I attended the 24th Philippine Travel Mar . 
It was held from September 6-8, 2013 at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

As an officer of the City of San Fernando Tourism Council, I was there to give support to the La Union booth and at the same time, I coordinated for the attendance of Miss Tourism World Philippines 2013, Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz who was the Mutia ti La Union 2012.

Among the products of La Union, the colored soft broom was a delight for the people and the SUMAYET Vinegar of Halo-Halo de Iloko was a blockbuster.

Aiyana graced the event to give support to the La Union booth and it was a delight to witness how people were so quite interested  and delighted to see and have a picture taken with her.

Aiyana will be representing the Philippines on October 12, 2013 in the Miss Tourism World 2013 at Equatorial Guinea, West Africa.

Miss Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz and Angeli Gomez who were Bb. Pilipinas 2013 candidates (Bb, 47 and Bb. 48 respectively) had a mini-reunion. They are both Miss Tourism (World for Aiyana and International for Angeli).

The event was a success and hoping for tourism to continuously be a great thing in the Philippines.

Miss Indigenous People 2013

In line with promoting and showcasing the wonders and beauty of the Culture and Traditions of the Indigenous Peoples’ group within the province of La Union, there will be a pageant to Search for the most beautiful girl from the IP of La Union.
It will be on October 6, 2013 in Rosario La Union.

The Miss Silka Ilocandia 2013 will be having the coronation and pageant night on September 20, 2013 at 8 PM, Plaza Burgos, Vigan City.

One Love, One Hand

One Love, One Hand is an outreach organized by photographers. They collect old toys, old clothes and school supplies which they donate to less fortunate kids. They have a caravan ongoing and it was a privilege to be part of their outreach in Baliuag, Bulacan last August 10, 2013. 
The photographers headed by Mr. Rens Tuzon, coordinated with the photographers from Baliuag, Bulacan and together with Miss Tourism World Philippines 2013, Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz, they shared the spirit of love and giving to the kids from the said place.

World Supermodel Philippines 2013

The World Supermodel Philippines 2013 will be held at the Amazing Philippine Theatre  on the 8th day of September 2013, CCP Complex at 1:00 PM.
The modelling competition will be hosted by Mikael Daez and Miss Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz, Miss Tourism World Philippines 2013.

The  Winner will be selected to compete in Queensland, Australia for the World Supermodel 2013 where an exciting career in the world of Haute Couture awaits the grand winner.

Last  World Supermodel 2011, the 1st Runner Up and Best in Long Gown was awarded to the representative of the Philippines, Miss Brenna Gamboa.

 

 

24th Philippine Travel Mart at SMX Convention Center

PHILTOA (Philippine Tour Operators Association) is the organizing body behind the biggest travel sale in the country, the 24th Philippine Travel Mart.
It will be held on September 6-8, 2013 at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The Province of La Union will be taking part with their own booth with the staff of the Provincial Information and Tourism Office, headed by Sir Adamor Dagang. 
The Chairman of the Tourism Council of  City of San Fernando, La Union will also be there, Mr. Xavier Mercado will be there promoting the pride of the city, the Halo Halo de Iloko.
and last but not the least, another pride of La Union, Miss Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz of Agoo, La Union will grace the said event. She will be representing the Philippines  in Miss Tourism World 2013 at  Equatorial Guinea, West Africa on October 12, 2013
