The Provincial Government of La Union thru the Provincial Information and Tourism Office had the second part of the “Tour Your Own Province” just today, October 11, 2013, visiting the second district of La Union.
The tour explored the South La Union tourists spots like The Naguilian Agricultural Complex where the basi and vinegar were on display and being fermented, the participants had a blast taking a sip. The taste test was a hit that a lot of the participants had purchased some basi and vinegar.
The Martinez Silver Craft in Lioac, Naguilian, La Union had a product demonstration of silver making and the participants made the place as their shopping haven for purchasing some silver jewelries.
The Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Charity was the next stop where the participants had the chance to be up close and personal with the Pipe Organ and the crypt that serves as the underground cemetery of some prominent people like Jose Aspiras, Manuel Luna and Mariano Aspiras Madriaga while it was also the chance to express gratitude for all the blessings as we prayed in the adoration chapel.
The Museo de Iloco was the next stop and the exhibits had Ilocano touch like the paintings of Ilocano heroes, prominent people and artifacts that showcased the cultural heritage of being Ilocano.
The bonding moment was next with the lunch spent at the Agoo grotto where the participants prayed then had a meal.
It was a great surprise that the Monte Del Rosario Springs in Benteng-Sapilang, Rosario, La Union had a mini zoo, and the place had a lot o animals but the place still maintain to smells good thus it is great to visit it and to also try their pool and accommodation since if sanitation is concerned, the place is a big thumbs up.
Pugo Adventure had a lot of activities to offer with their new features that are amazing to try by adventurous tourists and then the tour ended in Kultura Splash Waves, the place has this WARM aura that makes the place an enjoyable place to spend time. The Sky Walker is the best thing to try.
In the end, the tour had been a great chance to explore the beauty and features that La Union could offer to both foreign and local tourists.
