The search for “Miss Baguio 2012” had wrapped up and the winners were declared.
The Sonny T. Productions, a Baguio-based outfit handled the pageant, they were incharge for the search of the most beautiful Baguio lass among the official candidates who meet the requirements like being at least a Baguio City resident for one year, single, at least five feet and two inches in height, between 16 to 25 years old, “possess beauty, poise, personality, wit, intellect and of good moral character”. The winners had received P50,000 cash for “Ms. Baguio”, P30,000 for the first runner-up and P20,000 for the second runner-up, aside from the gift certificates and gift packages from sponsors.
The candidates were
Rubilyn Nguepan, Almoza, Joyah May Galisim, Ira Ocampo, Hanna Monroy, Hazel Ibay, Isleta, Regina Gacad, Mara Antigua, Kristine Addatu, Mariz Galvez, Heather Cortez, Nyzza Ramirez, Rhojane Malabed, Kimberle Mae Penchon, Ethel Jane Gonzales, Ellaiza Arrances, Jhuniya Viernes, Sarah Abdul, and Clea Mae Gatchalian.
Last September 2, 2012, a new queen were crowned as Mis Kimberle Mae Penchon was declared as Miss Baguio City 2012 who answered ““For me, God is Love and love is God, because first, God created human beings in this world for the sake of love. He created things that could most destroy him or build him because of love and that would be human. God created us out of love because He wants to show and share His love to human beings, especially to us and in this world.”
Her royal court includes Sarah Abdul as 1st Runner-up and Jhuniya Rizza Viernes as the 2nd Runner-up
