Eleazar Rullan founded Backpacks for Bright Beginnings (BBB), an outreach program which provides backpacks, school supplies, storytelling & feeding programs to underprivileged preschoolers in La Union particularly in San Fernando City (Philippines).
BBB is a preschool outreach program for underprivileged children (ages 4 to 6 years old) around depressed communities in San Fernando City, La Union, Philippines.
They started BBB on Mr. Eleazar Rullan’s personal initiative together with 1 volunteer assistant on March 28, 2011. They provide donated backpacks, school supplies, storytelling & feeding programs for the children-recipients during the school year. In the process, hopefully, they ignited the curiosity in the children to learn basic lifetime educational skills of reading, writing, and arithmetic or the 3 R’s.

It is such a wonderful feeling to share the blessings to the needy “little angles” of God in San Fernando La Union, Philippines. This is not just my own effort but with the help of my generous friends from near and far. May the glory of God be brought back manifolds to those who helped me in spreading this act of love. By the way, we will be having our 2nd round of story-telling and feeding program on October 2012 at San Agustin, San Fernando City, La Union, Philippines in line with the celebration of the Children’s Month.
