As a movie addict, I love watching movies.
Superhero movies are a source of delight and there were times during childhood where I do emulate some of them and with a towel or blanket at my back, I would always pretend that I could FLY.
I loved watching movie marathons or if it is shown in theatre, I do my best to watch. If there is a TV version, I also tries to folllow.
Why are we attracted to superheroes? From childhood to the present I have been amazed the powers of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and several others. As the fan base indicates, children, and many adults, continue to be captivated by superheroes. The superheroes are shown t be just an ordinary or simple individual until they unleash their powers and they all have some waterloo.
Superman as the reporter, Clark Kent who is affected by the kryptonite, Spiderman was Peter Parker, a photographer who had been bullied in high school and Bruce Wayne or Batman is a rich man who is out to avenge. Thus the audience identify themselves with those characters, one who is simple could be in front if only they have the super powers.
To be a family member, close friend , neighbor or love interest if a super hero is a big curse since the villain will be after you.
But that’s what movies are all about.

Danny Segren, The Electric Company (1974)
